Founded in Haikou, Hainan province in 2005, the art venue REDSKY is designed – from a cultural, social, economical, political, environmental and planning perspective – to scan the escalating urbanization through the cooperation and discussion with institutions and personalities from elsewhere. The exhibition project is based on the participation of artists, designers, administrators, planners, scholars, journalists, presenters as well as students. With all these connections, we can further discuss – within the context of globalization – the fancy of modern city and the evolving urban phenomenon.
